TOP OF THE BAY 2024

Dear Members,

INVITATION

Williamstown Sailing Club, as the Organising Authority and on behalf of the Trustees, invites Albert Park Yacht Club Albert Sailing Club, Altona Yacht Club, Elwood Sailing Club, Port Melbourne Yacht Club, Williamstown Sailing Club (Host Club), Hobsons Bay Yacht Club Royal Yacht Club of Victoria and Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron (the “Participating Clubs”) to participate in the Top of the Bay Interclub Challenge to be conducted on the waters of Port Phillip on Saturday 10th February 2024.

Please see the NOR – Regattas – Williamstown Sailing Club

As you are aware ESC is holding the Lightening Regatta on Saturday 10 Feb so there are choices to be made.

Next season will be ESC’s 100 Year celebration year and the Committee has advised that the Top of The Bay regatta will be hosted by ESC in 2025. I feel that to help ensure a good turn up at the Top Of The Bay Regatta in 2025, ESC members should support and attend the Regatta on Saturday at Williamstown SC. “Miss Adventure” is going and we will probably trail the boat to Williamstown. However, the course will most likely be in the vicinity of Port Melbourne Yacht Club which is not a long sail from Elwood beach.

Please consider where you wish to sail on Saturday and support ESC, especially in our centenary year.

Regards

Mark Foster
