Elwood Sailing Club is proud to partner with Elwood Primary School to offer free learn to sail courses to grade 3/4 students. Sailing is a sport that fosters independence and self reliance while having fun on the water.
To go in the draw for the free courses, students need to contact their teacher. Who knows? Maybe these kids will be competing for Australia in the 2020 Olympics just like all the great sailors!

The Elwood Sailing Club 2012 Annual General Meeting will be held at the clubrooms on Friday 7th of September 2012 commencing 7.30pm. The bar will be open from 7.00pm , refreshments and finger food will be available after the meeting. Continue reading
To improve members first aid skills before the start of the sailing season, ESC will be conducting an ‘Apply First Aid’ course including a practical session at the clubrooms from 9am – 5pm on Saturday 15th September 2012. Continue reading
Congratulation to all the Australian Olympic Sailing team for their great efforts and successes at Weymouth, including Gold medal winners Tom Slingsby (at last!) in the Mens Lasers, Nathan Outteridge & Iain Jenson in the 49er (after a Silver last time), Mathew Belcher & Malcolm Page in the Mens 470 (again!) and Silver for the Women’s Elliott 6 Match Racing team of Olivia Price, Nina Curtis & Lucinda Whitty (pity about that big roundup in the third race!), and not to forget hometown favorite, former ESC Sabot and World Laser Radial Champion Krystal Weir (pictured) who competed in the Ladies Laser Radials and all the other Australian competitors & officials.
