Learn to sail “of the beach” in a safe and supported environment on the beautiful Elwood foreshore
Our Pace Yourself program commences on Saturday 24th October, from 8:30am to 11:30 am, with 8 scheduled sessions to mid December, weather dependent.
The focus is on novice sailors, with development of basic skills and knowledge to safely sail a dinghy in light to moderate winds.

After the successful pre summer and Summer Holiday tackers and adult start sailing courses. Elwood Sailing Club will be running a new set of courses beginning the 30th January for 5 weekends. If you are interested in teaching your children how to sail – please check the web site under Learn to Sail or contact training@elwoodsc.com

Sunday practice is open to all members and recent trainees (within the last 12 months). The club is open downstairs and a rescue boat is provided. Sailors are free to sail and practice as they wish. Sailors may hire a ESC fleet OziOpti, 4.7 Laser or RS Feva training dinghies, or you can bring your own boat. It runs on Sundays from October – December in the first half of the season and January – April in the second half of the season from 9.00am-12.00pm. Continue reading
Green fleet is a collection of fun racing and activities to improve sailing skills. It is open to ESC club members, senior & junior, who have completed an Tackers 3 or Introduction to Club Racing course or equivalent and wish to improve their sailing. Greenfleet is hands on/on-water using ESC fleet of OziOptis, 4.7 Laser and RS Feva training dinghies, or you can bring your own boat. It runs on Saturdays from October – December in the first half of the season and February – March in the second half of the season from 1.30pm-4.30pm. Continue reading
