A Class Lightning Championship 27-28 February
Elwood Sailing Club is hosting the A Class Lightning Championship for International A Class Catamarans on 27th and 28th of February 2016. There will be three races on each day, back to back with a target time of 40mins per race. Continue reading
Duty Instructions for Members
As a sailing club our racing is run by volunteers and member duty shifts which are very valuable to the club. We have great people involved and helping out.
As a sailing member completing your rostered duty is an essential component of your membership. It is important to pre-confirm your attendance using “Dutyman”, arrange a swap if necessary, and to record your attendance so that you receive average race points and boat storage points if applicable. It’s time to blow away the cobwebs, so we will be meeting at the clubrooms at 10am on Sunday 11th Oct for a general clean up, wash down and chuck out session to be followed by a sausage sizzle for lunch.

ESC Season Opening Day – Friday 2nd Oct
This year Opening Day – is on the 2nd October – GRAND FINAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY – a new public holiday to Victoria – the club will be open from 9am with the Canteen reopening and bar.
The first race starts at: 13.57hrs
Dan Osinga will be providing a BBQ, after the race – to celebrate the new Opening of the Season – we hope to see you there
