As many of you would know Elwood SC has been asked to join the ISAF World Cup in December, which is based from RMYC. Elwood SC has been appointed to a participate in the race management of the Vipers and Kite Boarders. This is a brilliant opportunity for Elwood Club Members to volunteer on the water. Experience is not necessary as you will be taught on the water – however, those with experience are greatly appreciated. ISAF will also feed you during the racing and provide invites to their social activities – which is based around St Kilda. Continue reading
Rob Ware will be presenting a talk on Racing Rules at the ESC clubrooms on Thursday 16thth July, @ 7pm, this date has been moved from the 9th. Rob’s experience in rules is vast and extremely valuable – a night not to be missed. Rob will be talking about the 
tactical application of rules – “how to beat up the opposition and stay out of trouble”

Elwood Sailing Club, Friends of Elwood RSL, the Elwood Community branch of Bendigo Bank and Chisholm & Gamon will be hosting an ANZAC day memorial service on the ESC foreshore at 9am on Saturday 25th of April.
We have 5 pre-loved Optimist training dinghies for sale at $50 to ESC members on a first in best dressed basis. The hulls are fiberglass in varying condition and come with rigs and foils, again in various condition, so if you get in early you can have the pick of the litter! Continue reading
All members are encouraged to attend the Elwood Sailing Club Half Yearly General Meeting, which has had to be rescheduled and will now be held at the clubrooms on Saturday 21st March 2015, the meeting will commence around 5pm or possibly a little later if people are still tiding up after sailing.

Elwood Sailing Club is once again participating in the 2015 TOP of the Bay Interclub Challenge. This year Port Melbourne Yacht Club as organising authority is hosting the event and ESC is requesting a large turn out of club members to compete and also support PMYC’s 125th Anniversary year.
