Please note there has been some changes to the ESC 2011 AGM Notice of Meeting and proxy forms due to the inclusion in General Business of motions relating to requested changes to Sailing Instructions and a presentation on proposed building development of the ESC clubrooms.

The Elwood Sailing Club 2011 Annual General Meeting will be held at the clubrooms on Thursday 1^st September 2011 commencing 7.30pm. The bar will be open from 7.00pm , refreshments and finger food will be available after the meeting.

It’s time to dust off the old dinner jacket, pull that Christian Dior frock out of the wardrobe and spit polish your best shoes because Elwood Sailing Club’s Presentation Night 2011 beckons!

 This years Presentation Night will be commence at the clubrooms on Saturday 28th May 2011 from 7pm, where upon arrival you and your guests will be welcomed with a complementary beer or wine and nibbles, followed with a sit down buffet from the spit roast with a selection of salads & vegetables, deserts and tea & coffee to finish, all for the very reasonable price of $30 per head if you pre-book and pay in advance (or $35 if you wish to pre-book and pay upon arrival.)

With racing being abandoned due to gales on Saturday 19th,  Elwood Sailing Club’s 2011 Half Yearly General Meeting has been adjourned and will now be held on  Saturday 26th February at 5pm, or a little later if people are late coming off the water after racing. 

Elwood Sailing Club will be going Hawaiian this New Years Eve, so get into your favorite loud shirt/tropical gangster/big kahuna/Hawaii Five-0/wahini/hula dancing outfits, gather up your family and friends and join in the fun!

Kickoff will be after the National E championship presentation from 8pm going through to till 1am, entry is FREE, drinks are at bar prices, BYO nibbles or barbeque goodies.

Santa’s Last Chance – Booking close Wednesday 15th!!! 

Santa’s on his way back to ESC, and he’s jollier than ever!

Santa will be visiting the Elwood Sailing Club Christmas party around 5pm after sailing on Saturday 18th December, so be there to share in the fun. Finger food and a barbecue will be available on the night.

Tickets are only $10 for adults & kids and will be available at the canteen, bar or from the office from this Saturday, or email Mark at manager@elwoodsc.com to reserve tickets.
