Sunday practice is open to all members and recent trainees (within the last 12 months). The club is open downstairs and a rescue boat is provided. Sailors are free to sail and practice as they wish. Sailors may hire a ESC fleet OziOpti, 4.7 Laser or RS Feva training dinghies, or you can bring your own boat. It runs on Sundays from October – December in the first half of the season and January – April in the second half of the season from 9.00am-12.00pm. Continue reading
Green fleet is a collection of fun racing and activities to improve sailing skills. It is open to ESC club members, senior & junior, who have completed an Tackers 3 or Introduction to Club Racing course or equivalent and wish to improve their sailing. Greenfleet is hands on/on-water using ESC fleet of OziOptis, 4.7 Laser and RS Feva training dinghies, or you can bring your own boat. It’s time to blow away the cobwebs and get the clubrooms ready for the new season, so we will be meeting at the clubrooms at 9 am on Saturday 20th September for a general clean up, wash down and chuck out session to be followed by a BBQ for lunch.
Bring along your work or garden tools, brooms, gloves etc
Come for an hour or three, whatever you can spare.
Join us to celebrate the 2013-14 sailing season with fabulous food, live music and entertainment with raffle & door prizes to be won. Finger food with a complimentary drink will be served upon arrival, followed by a 2 course meal and drinks to be purchased at the bar.
$40 adults ($35 early bird special if bought in April) & $20 children 12 y.o. and under
All recent trainees and new members are invited to come and join the club committee members and class representatives after the last day of training for a free BBQ. Get to meet some of the club members and find out about the boats they sail.
ESC invites you to our annual Food and Wine Extravaganza on Friday 21st February from 7pm till late, there will be a 3 course meal prepared by our chefs Dan & sous Joseph, accompanied by a selection of fine Champagne and wines to compliment the food and an informative Parti Gras by Sir Lunchalot himself, ESC Commodore Rob Anderson.
