Elwood Sailing Club, Friends of Elwood RSL, the Elwood Community branch of Bendigo Bank and Chisholm & Gamon will be hosting an ANZAC day memorial service on the ESC foreshore at 9am on Saturday 25th of April.

Congratulations to John Frey and crew G Daniel of National E 536 Tangara on winning the 2015 Bill McNamara Trophy. This years fleet race result is based both on yardstick and club handicap.

2015 HYGM, Saturday 21st March @ 5pm – Please note change of date!
All members are encouraged to attend the Elwood Sailing Club Half Yearly General Meeting, which has had to be rescheduled and will now be held at the clubrooms on Saturday 21st March 2015, the meeting will commence around 5pm or possibly a little later if people are still tiding up after sailing.
F18 Vic State Titles 7-9 March 2015 – Volunteers required

State Championships for the Formula 18 Association from 7th March to 9th March 2015.

The Gill A Class Lightning Championship 21-22 February
Elwood Sailing Club is hosting the Gill A Class Lightning Championship for International A Class Catamarans on 21st and 22nd of February 2015. There will be three races on each day, back to back with a target time of 40mins per race. Continue reading

ISAF Sailing World Cup – Melbourne Dinner
ESC members are invited to attend the ISAF Sailing World Cup – Melbourne Dinner on Tuesday 9th December commencing at 6:30 pm. The cost is $135 per person or $130 p/p if we can get a table of 10 together, so join Commodore Mark Foster and other ESC luminaries and make a night of it.
If you are interested in making up a table please register your interest ASAP with Brett Nangle at manager@elwoodsc.com
Sail Melbourne is also looking for volunteers to assist with the event between Monday 8th – Monday 15th December, so if you would be interested in helping out please register here. Not too many of us will ever qualify to race in the World Cup, but that should not stop us from taking part!
