{"id":4955,"date":"2016-07-22T17:30:27","date_gmt":"2016-07-22T06:30:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.elwoodsc.com\/blog\/?p=4955"},"modified":"2016-09-06T18:14:03","modified_gmt":"2016-09-06T07:14:03","slug":"notice-agm-august-22nd-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.elwoodsc.com\/blog\/notice-agm-august-22nd-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"Notice of AGM, August 25nd 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><u>Notice of Annual General Meeting of Elwood Sailing Club Inc.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In accordance with Rule 33, please be advised that the Annual General Meeting of Elwood Sailing Club Inc. will be held \u2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>At Elwood Sailing Club<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Thursday 25<sup>th<\/sup> August 2016<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Commencing 7.00pm<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note the attached documents<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.elwoodsc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/ESC-AGM-2016.pdf\">Notice of AGM &amp; Agenda<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.elwoodsc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/ESC-AGM-Proxy-form-2016-1.pdf\">AGM Proxy vote<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.elwoodsc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/ESC-Committee-Nomination-form.pdf\">ESC General Committee Nomination forms<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>To attend and vote at the AGM you must be a <u>current financial member<\/u> so please pay your membership renewals which are due NOW.<\/p>\n<p>Currently we have the following nominations for GC<\/p>\n<p><strong>Commodore:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Joseph Picone, <strong>Vice-Commodore<\/strong>: Ross Lloyd,\u00a0 <strong>Rear-Commodore<\/strong>: Mike Wold, <strong>Treasurer<\/strong>: Rob Anderson, <strong>Secretary<\/strong>: David Wilkinson<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ordinary Committee Members<\/strong>: Ben Dixon, Dan Osinga, Doug Haig, Freek Wetzels,<\/p>\n<p><strong>Retiring Committee Members:<\/strong> Chris Boag, Mark Foster<\/p>\n<p>The make up of GC is to be a total of 10 Committee members (3 Flags, Treasurer &amp; Secretary &amp; 5 Ordinary Committee members)<\/p>\n<p>At this stage we are still one down for an Ordinary Committee Member position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Opportunity to join GC<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you would like to be a member of GC you are quite welcome to nominate for any position. If there are 2 or more nominations for the positions of \u00a0Flag Officer, Treasurer &amp; Secretary &#8211; There will be a secret ballot at the AGM to decide the matter.
