Kids don\u2019t need to have any sailing experience and they don\u2019t have to be a member of Elwood Sailing Club to participate. All the equipment, including the boats, is provided.<\/p>\n<h1>INFO FOR KIDS<\/h1>\n<p>Kids play loads of games and go on adventures together to learn how to sail. There isn&#8217;t a court, a pitch or an oval like other sports, instead you have a beach and bay explore. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elwoodsc.com\/blog\/?p=3349\">Click here<\/a> to find out all the fun you could have doing Tackers.<\/p>\n<h1>TACKERS COURSES<\/h1>\n<h1>Tackers is aimed at providing kids aged 7-12 with a fun, safe, and affordable way to get into sailing.<\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Tackers 1\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Having Fun &#8211;\u00a0\u00a0Kids sail in pairs in small boats. It\u2019s a great way to meet new friends and kids have the chance to sail with others in their group<\/strong>.<strong>\u00a0Tackers 1 introduces children to the basics of sailing through games on and off the water.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339966;\"><strong>Tackers 2\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tricks &amp; Techniques\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0If kids are confident, they can sail a boat on their own with lots of support, supervision and encouragement from the Instructor and Assistant Instructors.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #333399;\">Tackers 3<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2>Sailing Fast &#8211;<strong>Sailing Fast<\/strong>! This is a chance for the kids to sail boats on their own, learning how to make the boat go faster and playing more games, all whilst still under the guidance and supervision of the Instructor and Assistant Instructors.<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Venue<\/h2>\n<p>The courses will be held at Elwood Sailing Club, Foreshore, Elwood, off Ormond Esplanade. (Melways ref 67B4).
